Question by xenon: What would be the benefits of studying native american poetry?
I’m interested in taking a class on native american poetry but am not sure how much of an influence it’ll have on me

the textbooks are rather expensive and I don’t know what to expect

I once bought a book of native fairy tales it it was much appealing. Enjoy the class

    The advantage of studying Native American poetry is that you can recite it without anyone being able to correct you. So you can make it up as you go along. What to do in the unlikely event of their being someone conversant with that particular language or dialect? Tell them it is an obscre Scandinavian dialect from the 3rd century BC. And so on.

    wow are u really that naive buy the damn book and read it are u afraid of the native americans do u feel guilty have u read any other books before has the mother goose book of nursery rhymes influence u to be a jack in the corner or a little miss muffet. grrrr
