Depends where you get it done, mine has a fair bit of detail but more minimal colour and is from hip to hip on my lower back and cost me AU$ 200.

This depends on the color, shape, time it takes on the tatoo, and tattoo artist you go to.
Complex and larger tattoos can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Smaller tattoos such as names and really small designs are probably around 50 bucks or less.
    I’m thinking around the hundreds.

As you can see from the various answers here, prices differ greatly from shop to shop, country to country, city to city. No one here is going to be able to give you an accurate price, especially if that is not the tattoo you want. The shop that I use charges £60-£80 an hour.
