Question by Rockerguy: Soccer tips and references for a first time soccer player?
I have never touched a soccer ball for more than 30 minutes. I did not know when my high schools tryouts were, so I missed them. Now I have to wait until next year but gives me plenty of time to learn stuff. Can anybody give some info for a first time soccer player?
I forgot to mention some tips for training.

hiya some tips are like u need control and agility u just need to get used to the ball
first i would say you need speed and strength after that start running back and forth dribbling a soccer ball and get control of it . Once your done with that start doing some trick with the ball at lest some simple ones.
Check out my soccer training website http://discoversoccer.blogspot.com check out the conditioning and technical skills sections, and look around.
Start touching the ball more often.
