  9. Steve M on June 27, 2011 at 3:39 pm

She’s running for VP not president. And by the time she IS president she will be more than ready.

  10. almostcrazee on June 27, 2011 at 4:27 pm

No, but she will learn. That’s why she’s not running for President. Do you really think NObama is ready?

*Don’t just hope for change, VOTE for it!*

    McCain/Palin 08

  11. missy minnesota on June 27, 2011 at 4:48 pm

    No.

Like most conservatives, she never even left America and had to get her passport when she was in her mid-40s.

Repubs don’t know anything about the world.

  12. Mark K on June 27, 2011 at 5:25 pm

yes but she will be the vice president as far as her powers goes it will only to advise not decide

  13. mike on June 27, 2011 at 5:28 pm

NO! She was a mayor of 9000 then a governer of a state that is like 60% ice desert!

  14. s.wabbit on June 27, 2011 at 6:12 pm

I don’t think she’s ready to handle her own affairs, much less those of her state, the country or the world.

  15. fmko ( 無神論者は神を知っていない。) on June 27, 2011 at 7:00 pm

does it matter she is a VP…and doesn’t everyone in DC have all kinds of advisers…so why can’t she have them…

  16. logan on June 27, 2011 at 7:42 pm

heck no! but if they are still going with the “i can see russia from where i live” thing then i can run canada.

  17. Marisa K on June 27, 2011 at 8:37 pm

Absolutely not. She just got her passport A YEAR AGO! I can’t want to see Biden rip her a new one.

  18. McB on June 27, 2011 at 9:14 pm

Just as ready as the “rockstar” who spent a couple of weeks overseas giving concerts at taxpayer expense.

  19. Patrick R on June 27, 2011 at 9:56 pm

She’s far more qualified than Sen. Obama.

Just running for president is no qualification to be president.

Palin has more real life, practical and executive experience…period.

  20. Caleb's Mom on June 27, 2011 at 9:57 pm

I think Sarah Palin is as ready to handle the responsibilities of VP and Obama is ready to handle the responsibilities of President.

  21. randall flag on June 27, 2011 at 10:22 pm

more so than obama..and she is not running for president..
plus she can pass a national security clearance background check.
    obama can’t

  22. fleppy100 on June 27, 2011 at 10:53 pm

She can handle world affairs better than Obama.

  23. ynot on June 27, 2011 at 11:24 pm

A better question is do you think that Obama can handle world affairs?
at least she is not president yet, but he could be ..more scary.

  24. mr_cj_jr on June 27, 2011 at 11:24 pm

    HELL NO!!

But, if they want to exchange baby stories, she’s the right person for the job!!

  25. michiganxgenfem on June 28, 2011 at 12:11 am

no of course not…but her husband is really the candidate and he will ride up on his snowmobile with his AK47 and save the day!

  26. Ernest V on June 28, 2011 at 12:57 am

Perhaps more so than Senator Obama.

The Democrat ticket is upside down.

“I found her quite a capable woman,” Karzai said later. “She asked the right questions on Afghanistan.”
The self-described “hockey mom” also asked former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for insights on Georgia, Russia, China and Iran, and she’ll see more leaders Wednesday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings.

  27. Josh on June 28, 2011 at 1:34 am

Do you think Obama is ready to handle World Affairs??? Palin has more experience then Obama, and Obama wants to be your President!

  28. Crazy J on June 28, 2011 at 2:14 am

All she needs to do is go to Europe for a week-meet with officals, come back==she is now full of experience.. isn’t that how it works Barrack?

  29. dudewheresmycar86 on June 28, 2011 at 2:50 am

No…Being governor doesn’t nessecarily make you experienced to handle world affairs

Its a shame we can’t have Obama and McCain on the same ticket..Ones good for the economy the other is very good for security.

  30. SXXY M&M on June 28, 2011 at 3:12 am

  32. Ray.Returns on June 28, 2011 at 4:15 am

Unlike old Joe she would know who was president at the time of the great depression and she would also know there was no T V at the time’ Old Joe said ”During the great depression Pres Roosevelt got on T V and calmed’….” It was Hoover and there was no T V at the time

  33. Eternals Blissyღ on June 28, 2011 at 5:14 am

Yes I think she is quite capable.
Are you afraid because she is a woman?

  34. doc_of_three on June 28, 2011 at 5:37 am

no way and everyone knows it.

  35. Numb Nuts on June 28, 2011 at 6:31 am

  37. Ogozi J on June 28, 2011 at 7:35 am

    NO!

  38. claudiacake on June 28, 2011 at 8:26 am

My honest opinion is that people who are worried about Palin’s “readiness” to handle this or that are simply blowing it out their a****. Never before has the primary candidate of either party been so weak and ineffectual that the election must debate and agonize over the other party’s VICE PRESIDENTIAL PICK.
We DO NOT VOTE for vice president. We vote for president. The presidential candidate CHOOSES a running mate. We, the people, do not control that.
And I don’t give a flying rat’s *** about Palin’s “readiness”. I am concerned, however, that Obama has nothing to prepare him for the office of the presidency.

Edit: Mike, that “ice desert” commands more natural resources, revenue, and income potential than any other state in the union. Go back to school.

  39. ugotthat on June 28, 2011 at 8:30 am

She can’t even handle speaking and doesn’t seem too bright. The woman sounds like she’s from a bad part of Brooklyn, New York. Trust me there are some less than brilliant people living there (East New York). She also operates with a safety net.

But then again both Bush and McCain graduated at the bottom of their
respective classes. So Gee look what stupidity can accomplish.

  40. carl on June 28, 2011 at 8:40 am

Yes, Just as much as Hussein Obama if not better! She was governer Not just a community organizer!

  41. Add Man on June 28, 2011 at 9:34 am

Not at all. In the last 36 hours all we have learned of her is that she ordered Birthday Cake flavored ice cream. She continues to avoid the press because she’s inexcusablely unprepared.

  42. SARAH CUDA! on June 28, 2011 at 10:14 am

Hell yes! Palin is the most successful and popular elected official in America. She is a lifelong proven winner- the ultimate alpha female! She is EXACTLY what Washington needs- an honest reformer!

  43. littlelota71 on June 28, 2011 at 10:20 am

I do. She has guts, is strong willed, and has a lot of compassion for the shape the world is in, and willing to do whatever it takes to get our world back on track. She has God in her heart and soul, and “that” is where she gets her strength! She would make a great President, and has my vote as vise.

  44. bluechristy12 on June 28, 2011 at 10:34 am

PALIN IS ONE THE BIGGEST INSULTS TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BESIDES MAKING THE AMERICAN TAX PAYER PAY FOR WALL STREET CRIMES AND GETTING US INTO A WAR AND WAR DEBT OF TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS WITH THE BIGGEST ECONOMIC DEFICIT EVER .
As far as I am concerned Republican take over of the USA has become like a virus.

  45. Kai J. on June 28, 2011 at 11:22 am

    No. Not at all.

  46. Scythian1950 on June 28, 2011 at 12:01 pm

What I find interesting about the answers given above is that many of those favoring McCain-Palin are saying, “she’s just going to be a vice president”. That is saying that they know she isn’t capable as of right now. I can see a remake of the movie, “My Fair Lady”, where Professor McCain Higgens pulls a rough gal from the Alaskan wilderness and gives her a crash education on how to become a refined lady, and hope to fool the dignitaries of the world.

If we include those in the “not ready” roster, it is overwhelmingly against Palin, probably 3 or 4 to 1. People know how unprepared she is, they’re just trying to find a good reason why they’re still holding onto McCain-Palin.

  47. Espanophile sur Paso Fino on June 28, 2011 at 12:27 pm

Crash course? What, she didn’t know any of that already.
Is that how you build a resume in this country, no wonder it’s falling apart financially.

  48. Heisman2013 on June 28, 2011 at 12:35 pm

    Absolutely not.

  49. riche_bitche_007 on June 28, 2011 at 12:54 pm

I would say that she handled her brother-in-laws affair in a pretty crappy way….I wonder if her husband has been faithful? If he has not been and she finds out, I would say he had better run for cover!!!! She is a spiteful angry woman. Her sister is a grown woman and should be capable of handling her own life…but no Palin steps in and uses her power as govenor to interviene. She must be hormonal !!

As far as world affairs…hummmm I think I could probably do just as well as Palin. She and I have had the same amount of experience and so that qualifies her for Absolutely nothing…McCain, well there is another story…let’s see…his most memorable and extensive experience was while he was held as a POW…I am not saying that is to be overlooked or forgotten, many Americans were POW’S and that does not qualify them to be president. I think that McCain is a nice man who married into mega-wealth and is totally out of touch with mainstream America….I think Sara Palin is a snobby, upper class white soccer mom with an attitude. Yes, she has a little downs syndrome baby, but so do alot of people. What qualifies her to be anything other than what she is? Nothing!!

Our choices pretty much suck this time, but Obama certainly does seem to be the better choice. He is a great speaker and he is well informed on the issues. I think he will give too much away to people who want to sit back and do nothing ( welfare moms) who have child after child…Lazy men who don’t even want to work and so forth…But that sure does not equal the cost of this pathetic war or cause us to continue losing the lives of our servicemen for absolutely nothing. Obama/Biden will end this war in a timely fashion and McCain/Palin will follow in the footsteps of Bush on probably almost every issue pertinant to America!! You decide..four more years of what have just passed or new administration with new ideas and a fresh perspective and hopefully great strides forward !!!

So I will hold my nose when I vote, but I will pull that lever for Obama/Biden who are the only hope we have !! Biden is a good senator with many years of experience and a great record…He will be there to help Obama with many issues in which he lacks experience, and Obama is a quick study, he will do just fine…with the help of Biden in the area where he may come up short. Who will help McCain, Palin?? Now that is funny !!
