Question by Kali: How much do legal marijuana growers in the state of Michigan make a year?
I imagine it has to be a significant amount of money. How much does it cost for the initial set up costs? How does someone become a legal grower in Michigan and learn the process and business?
Yes, legal growers. Michigan has legalized it medically, therefore, those with prescriptions for it need to get it somewhere, therefore, somebody is growing it legally. I know people that do it but it’s not very polite to ask people how much they make, is it? No. Don’t be sarcastic.

LEGAL GROWERS in Michigan…… really?
Soccerref
These legal marijuana growers you speak of will be shut down by the Federal government for interfering with commerce.
They will be making $ 0.00 – the money they spent on the weed and facilities.
Have a good week!
MMJ law does not make MJ legal.
Knowing people is exactly the people to ask! Read through the State MMJ law:
http://safeaccessnow.org/article.php?id=5753
In MI a patient can designate a Primary caregiver who may have up to 2.5 ounces and 12 plants for each patient they care for. Stating any compensation openly is probably against the law.
In the US the States with MMJ laws provide a protection – a legal defense. Does not make it legal – it makes it available.
MMJ is not a pharmaceutical and CAN NOT be prescribed. MMJ is recommended by a Dr.
In MI care givers or patients can grow the medicine.
The Michigan Medical Marihuana Program (MMMP)
