Question by Daisy F: How can I take care of my graphics tablet?
I recently bought a graphics tablet and started using it for drawing.
After a while, I noticed some scratches on the tablet from the pen…
Are there any tips on taking care of my tablet and maybe even the pen so that both of them can last longer?

This is normal wear and tear and is to be expected. The tablet likely already has a protective layer or film and that’s what you’re seeing scuff marks on. It’s nothing to worry about, but if you’re super paranoid about it, you could always put a piece of paper or use a plastic overhead sheet for an added layer.
Your pen nib will eventually wear down, at which point you can simply replace it (did your tablet come with replacement nibs?).

Your supplier probably has replacement surface sheets for your tablet.
I have wacom intuos 3 9×12(?) i forget the size… but you can buy clear ones to trace images, new nibs, different pens like air brushes.. etc..
Don’t panic ^_- Like the post above, it’s usual wear and tear. just don’t drop your tablet or use it as a coaster for your drinks or hot plates and you’ll have for a very long time.
Have fun.
