Question by : Do workers at food places get pissed off if customers keep getting free stuff?
You know when you complete a Panda Express survey, you get a code to get a free entree. I did this once and they had an attitude… do workers usually get pissed off if customers always get free stuff or they don’t care?
@ Mel- Why would my name and my photo piss people off? You need to stop being so shallow and judgmental… pretty immature for a top contributor.

Why would they care? They don’t own the place. Also, they have ways of balancing things out so they aren’t even technically losing money.. I know someone who works at a food place.

I dont think so. It comes with the territory. Besides cupons, I know the only time a customer gets somethin free is if they mess it up in the first place LOL

Where I work, we have the same thing on our receipts. Take a survey online, get a free extra large drink. And the only time it pisses me off, is when people will write down a fake code. Like, cmon how hard is it to actually do the survey. But other than that, they should be glad you’re taking the survey because your answers give them certain scores.

It doesn’t matter to them – its the same amount of work and it’s not like it’s coming out of their paycheck.

There’s a button on the till to put through promotional or discount stuff so it’s no big. Plus giving away free stuff is like a ‘taster’, or a regular offer like the student free cheeseburger, hamburger or McFlurry that we do, keeps them coming back, therefore we get more business. No idea what Panda Express are getting so huffy about. -_-

I like giving people free stuff because I think that food companies have it way too easy and managers and crew members usually eat free either way.
