Question by Jon C: How do I find out if I qualify for stimulus money or other government grants in order to make home improvement?
I want to make my home more energy efficient and also need some improvements made. Just wondering if I qualify. I made 47,000 last year.
BTW I did not vote for Obama. I do not agree with all the stimulus proposals, but it would stupid of me not to use money that is out there for this purpose if I qualify for it.

No you do not qualify
How bout this… get a better job, and pay for it yourself. I’m sure I speak for all tax payers here.
From what I understand the grant comes in the form of a tax return but I could be very wrong.
no stimulus payment this year
check with your city manager about eco friendly grants.
You can call the IRS or the person, co. or etc who filed your taxes,
Call Acorn and tell them you voted for Obama.
