Question by Shane Rich: is there any way i can get money out of my structured settlement without losing half or more to rip off artist?
places like j.g. Wentworth want to turn my 30000 into 15000. all i need is 4000 because an anesthesiologist broke my front three teeth (which were bridged) out of my mouth and refuses to pay. Please help!

Sorry, but those places aren’t charities…they’re businesses that need to make a profit.
Maybe you can make a payment arrangement with the doctor?

You can see if there is anything in the settlement papers about getting an advance. Or, talk to a lawyer to see if you might have a case against the anesthesiologist. Even if the lawyer just writes a letter, it may be enough to get him to pay. And if all that fails, you can ask the dentist about a payment plan.
But otherwise, those services that buy these types of settlements don’t do it just to be nice. They do it as a business, and have bills to pay themselves.
