Question by bjwill72961: We have been doing the family genealogy on mine and my husbands family and his Dad will not tell us any thing?
My husbands dad says he was born in 1934, the family says 1935, and all papers on the computer say 1936. My husbands dad is still alive. But we have 3 different years he was born. Is there anyway we can get his birth certificate. For genealogy reasons. Because he does not even know who his father was.

Maybe he has something to hide. Maybe you should back off. He might have been adopted.

I don’t think you can get his birth certficate – for any reason.

If his dad does not want to help you, back off. He is not required to tell you about his past. If you want to know, look other places but do not be surprised what you find.

Try looking in the newspapers in the town or city in which he was born. There may be a birth announcement.
