You need to go into nursing, fire fighting or police work. You can help people in these professions. A CPA helps people. A Career counselor helps people. A waitress in a restaurant helps people. There are many jobs where you can “Help people.” This is not the same as counseling or psychology.
In these fields you get people to help themselves. You do not solve problems for people. If you are a “Helper” don’t go here. You will not last. Nothing is more pitiful than a psychotherapist who just wants to help.
