Question by Bolt S: What are the chances of an Information Technology Specialist(25B) entering a combat situation?
I’m looking to become a 25B in the army and my mother is worried that I’ll still have to see combat and be up on the front lines of war. What are the safety risks with becoming an Information Technology Specialist in the army?

Soldier up, tell your mom that you’re gonna take an oath to protect your country with your life anyway. She might as well get used to it, one way or the other.
But honestly, you’re safer as a 25B in the army than as someone who commutes to work every day…
