Question by P: Information technology or computer science?
I am a student at NOVA. My high school counsler prefered me to take information technology over computer science. But on few websites I have seen computer science on 4th or 5th position of college major highest salaries while I.T. couldn’t even make it to top 20. I’d appriciate some help.

So long as you are strong in math take the computer science degree. It is a much better, more fundamental science degree. Your instincts are correct, not the counselor’s advice.

Do computer science. That way you can work in either IT or software engineering. A degree in IT limits you to just that.
