Question by Nate: Where can I find people that are interested in starting/opening a small business in the same genre I am?
I am looking to open/start an aftermarket parts business for cars, trucks and motorcycles in a physical brick and mortar location.

I would like to know where I can talk to people who are interested in the same genre.

Since I am interested in cars and trucks I want to be able to converse with individuals that are interested in opening an auto repair shop, auto body shop, or auto detailing shop.

That way, if I build up a location from the ground up and design a building, I could build a relationship that will both benifit us by having both businesses in the same location.

Go to some service stations and talk to the owners and employees. You might find owners who want to branch out or go into a partners ship in a different business.,and you might find employees who want to go into their own business but cant afford it on their own. Take an ad out in your local paper under Automotive, Looking for Partner. Do it in automotive not business. You have more car people looking in auto than business.

Ask around. Walk into those kinds of businesses, intro yourself to the owner / manager. Leave your card, offer to take ‘em to lunch or a beer after work.

Talk to the Snap-on and Interstate and other local reps, they know everybody and everything.

A good place to start would be the divorce courts.

Deadbeat dads are motivated (2.5 years fed time at hard labor + any amount of local time the local courts want to apply).

Deadbeat dads are desperate: no licenses, such as business licenses means any honest Liberal in a Conservative court will be reamed then told he can never quit or he will fact jail. He cannot hope to own his own business.

    Deadbeat Dads are Plentifull.

“Picked on” Deabeat dads are usually those picked as most likely to “stress” by competition existing companies (vested interests who own judges) . This means they are the brightest and most able people. By “Picked on” I do not mean lazy no accounts but rather those “given” “higher than reasonable” “imputed incomes” to meet. I was asked to earn 500+ times the schedule – with no collage after a cop had shot me through the head and in the chest by agent of the ex state empoyee / nurse / fiance’ imposter (cop also shot the real fiance’ – different cop).
