I should use smoke more often. If I ever roll with my friends as assault, I will run smoke. Like if we are arming mcoms, a thick layer of smoke can stop any sniper from taking the armer out, as well as being quite helpful as a smoke bomb, getting away.
Yep, I gotta admit smoke is a real pain to fight through (blind obviously) and a great tactic, especially in Rush. It scares off armoured vehicles for fear of being C4′ed up close and negates most sniper camping. (Note:That smoke round can also kill a tracer dart on a tank) However it seems to be rarely used by most Xbox live players.
A bit like the poor Blackhawk helicopter. Fully manned and gunned that can be a real problem…But it’s usually just 1 guy using it as a Taxi..lol

i do this alot!! even though i dont gain any points for doing so, it makes me feel better when im actually helping my team win, rather than just camp with a sniper rifle and “try” to get kills even if im an attacker
i use my smoke other way: planting bomb, stay near it, and spamming smoke all over the place. players will run towards to defuse, but they won’t see you and you can kill them easily
@tosti23 noob tactic? smoke is what the SWAT, Delta Force and other Special Units use, so are you saying they are noobs? Go back to Call of Duty

@BrUSomania It make hard for the other team to see you. its great to use it on RUSH. I use it all the time. OASIS is sometime a must. And by me using it I set everycharge and they blew up the first time I set it.

I know smoke removes tracers and spotting markers from vehicles, but does it do the same on teammates/people?
I do squad play with a couple of friends on xbox (I know, boo-hiss) And I spent around three sessions with a similar tactic, I then suggested an experimental tactic to my friends, We began to smoke one charge, wait for their defenders to head to that one, then quickly assault the now unguarded charge. Two squad members stop them from returning from their wild goose chase, whilst the other two maintain the charge. We worked through that session extremely well. Needless to say, change is good.
