My husband is fully disabled and we are wanting to buy our first home. We are going to try for a first time. Home owners loan but is there any grants for disabled people that he could apply for to help with the down payment?

You may want to research different types of programs out there to help people buy homes.
Try HUD (Housing & Urban Development) United States Governments website. There is tons of information there.
Also, you could work with a Human Service agencies to see if they have any programs that their agency can help with your request of buying a home.
You could also call your local banks or credit unions to find out if they offer any services.
Was your husband in the military? Sometimes the veterans programs have programs out there.
