Simply Accounting or Accpacc….. lots of companies use them.
In our family owned small business I use the Word Perfect that comes with XP. Its free and very easy to use. You can up grade for free as well and it cost you nothing extra. Its very good for what we need .
Try either Quickbooks for Business or Peachtree Pro are both good programs for a small business with QuickBooks it will integrate with Turbo Tax to help you complete your tax filing
Hope this helps!!
You can’t go wrong with QuickBooks. They even have an online version that you pay a monthly fee for (about $ 20 for a single user, I believe). Check out ..

I would recommend QuickBooks.
If you don’t need payroll or inventory features you might want to try QuickBooks Simple Start. You can download a free version online at http://www.quickbooks.com. The full-version is the least expensive of the QuickBooks software.
QuickBooks is number one. There are several books out there to help you learn and almost every junior college teaches QuickBooks.
MYOB Accounting Plus has both payroll, multi-currency plus many more features.
I love MYOB software. It is logical, sensible, simple and easy to use and if set-up correctly it will streamline administration, freeing up the business owners’ time to concentrate on running their business. There is a huge amount of MYOB support available for the end-user. MYOB software will grow with your business, and add-on solutions can be utilised for specialist requirements.
Where are you located? You can download a free 3 month trial version from http://www.myob-us.com. If you are not in America, you can go to the website & click on the links for the relevant country.
You should speak to your accountant – what software would they prefer you to use (this will save you money at tax time) as it will easily integrate with their systems. You could also proactively search for an MYOB savvy accountant.
I would also recommend, what ever software you get you get an expert to spend two hours setting it up properly for you – you can find an MYOB Certified Consultant on the web site.
I am an MYOB Certified Consultant, so I am biased, but I have a lot of happy clients.
